So what do you think of the new look? What would you like changed? What other features would you like to see added? What do you like?

Hello Don,

You asked : "So what do you think of the new look? "

I think it's " Kewl :), man ! " (lol)

You asked: "What would you like changed? "

Perhaps I should be addressing this to Matt himself, as he "owns" this Forum.

Since some of us, now, have our "Web-home" displayed showing *how* we earn our honorable Livelihood,
it is iinappropriate behavior for a "Moderator" to be abusing such power granted, out of a "personal vendetta" being held against another Forum-member.

True, in the 2 years, the both of us have posted here, there have been times when I have made the mistake of 'playing into his bloody hands' using the same poor tactics he's continued displaying on a daily basis. That means, a few times I have been guilty as well. I apologize for my, at times, appalling "humaness" .
For the most part tho, witnessing how little he is willing to understand of what our Merlin for instance has been trying to teach him, and others, here - I have refused entering into a conversation with him, as evidently such is "futile".

That said, here is the latest example just this morning of the kinds of continuing Harmful posts being made by this 1 individual : " Annie missed your point Merlin.

Merlin is right, Milton is a historical figure, upon whose work, are based many if not most the possibilities we now have, open to us as hypnotists. He almost single handedly brought hypnosis 'out of the closet' and made it acceptable to the main stream.

And it is his work that is important here, and what capabilities it offers us, not whether or not he personally did this or that.

Milton taught a permissive, comfortable, method of trance induction, and trance work. It is remarkably effective, and elegant to both use, and experience.

Some people prefer a more authorative approach. "You Vill go into trance nowwwwww!"; and that's ok too. "

Matt, and Don : This type of " Intentionally-destructive " linguistic manipulation/influence is totally disgraceful. And yes, I recognize this Forum, fortunately, is not representative of the kinds of *Good deeds* that have been, and will continue being, achieved in our world by the rest of us.

I also recognize that ultimately the specific Moderator in question will only hurt himself in so doing. "Fool"-ing many people into siding with him, does not mean he can not be "congruently Wrong", as other "Clinicians" are.

There is the "General public", unawares of this person's personal mission, that I remain concerned about. We have enough "I am God, almighty" on our hands to deal with. We don't need any more.

so, in answer to your question : "What would you like changed? " ... This Forum needs to hold its "Moderators" to the *SAME standard of behavior* as it does all other members. Allowing the current one-sided Standard of behavior is not going to benefit you, down the road.

Choose wisely :)

Hi Don,

Didn't spend a lot of time in the last Forum to compare but this set up seems pretty good.

As a novice to this sort of stuff I am finding me way around OK and finding some interesting information. Things like the resource area seems great!

Will send through an suggestions, as and when I think of them.

FMM

PS. Like th ability to edit you own post ! Sometimes you don't see the typos till after its posted!!!

re: " Spelling And Grammar Check Please "

Well, for those of us " Spelling Bee " winners :D ... hm, I understand that others can check their spellings at : www.dictionary.com (http://www.dictionary.com)

Is there such a thing as a " Grammar check " as well ? ... hm, where's the site for that one ? :)
~~

Really, tho - the increased # of posting variations in this particular version, over the previous ones,
amount to an outstanding job Well done ! ... and THANK YOU to *every person* who contributed resources to making these available.

Now, how many more different variations of " Smiley - faces " can we add to the 3 ... I keep cycling thru, LOL ... hey, iisn't that what Life is for : being *Happy, and sharing ;) our Joy * !!

Thanks for the link, I tend to cut and paste into word and use those options I think there is a possibility to get it on here though, with all of the other options that one has here

Very modern, usable professional site: what could make it better is if all the posts from the older site could be accessed without having to go there (if it's still "there"..haven't checked - the old site I didn't like trying to navigate too much..... this format is definitely more appealing - nice :) ).

Would like to encourage people to get into discussing topics posted - links and references are great and this site can become a treasure-house of information if people are willing to post replies that are more than a link to a book you could buy or another website.... these are fine and its always good to have good reference material..... However, a discussion forum thrives on discussion - sharing knowledge and wisdom (practical knowledge) will make this site a true gem for its visitors (bring it truly to life) and make it an invaluable resource for its community's education.

Speak up, speak up!! heh,heh:D

Like Annie was hinting at (perhaps) some more emoticons would be good idea
