Followed simple things, yet then.....

Hi, thanks for looking, i done an induction today, went brill, snap my fingers say he cant lift ---- and he couldnt, snap again say he can and he could, then stuck to it, then unstuck. Great. Then a couple of things by putting him back to 'sleep' like forget 7 then name, and then i said sleep again, and told him his feet would get hot, very hot, so hot he had to take his shoes off.

It didnt work, i felt really silly, and he just looked at his feet. Then i tried getting his elbow to tell him jokes, worked fine, even when i told him that the next joke would have the word sleep in it and it would send him to 'sleep', very funny and it did work. But why didnt the hot feet work?

I havnt got any script to work with/build on with stage routines, this could be why? not saying the right things?

Too many possibilities to say the ultimate source. Maybe he had his feet burned as a child and vowed never to let his feet burn again? I dunno.

But the bottom line is that he didn't believe it. That's why it didn't work.
