A full break-through session could take as long as two days. Seems like such a DVD set would get quite expensive...

on YouTube or Bandler's website. It isn't all there but enough is there to give you a good take on what he is doing. It's called "The Hypnotist". Jamie Smart may have put some up too.

I have some on VHS that a friend of mine sold. I don't know if they are available now or not.

How much money do you have to spend??

I am not sure what YOU mean by a full session.

A phobia 'cure' or swish pattern run to do something relatively simple, could be as little as 15 min.

Any number of CD's will have plenty of that type session done on real problems with real people as part of workshops to illustrate the 'pattern'.

And sometimes someone up there getting the 'pattern' demonstrated on them reveals other issues that the presenter deals with as well.

And bear in mind that there is no such thing as a 'simple' pattern' except in theory. Yes the pattern itsself is usually very simple and straightforward. But a whole lot of communication and 'NLP' is going on, in setting up the pattern, and ensuring that it 'sticks'.

So you could take a typical 'swish' pattern, 'example' and spend days analyzing the loops, anchors, embeds, presuppositions, ecology checks, belief changes, sleight of mouth, pacing, leading, generalizing the behavior, and future pacing, and on and on that is also going on in this "simple" 15 miniute multilevel communication.

Plenty of that sort of thing out there.

Some much better than others.

If you are new to this get Bandlers material, but dont try to analyze it yet, you will only get discouraged. 9-12 levels of deep structure communication is too daunting.

Get someone not as good for analysis and use Bandler to model, and enjoy.

Connie. He is the KING. As Skip wrote he is doing 9-12 levels of deep structure which still overwhelms me.

Even though we have Patterns, sometimes they are changed as a Fast Phobia Cure may be "cured" by simply changing one word in the client's language. Language today is incredibly sloppy, e.g., Get on the plane. I don't want ON the plane. I want IN the plane or else I'll get ON my broomstick and fly it. :eek:

Another place I love to watch if it is still on the net is Carmine. He was a fascinating man when it came to NLP and hypnosis. I would have LOVED to have trained with him. I have noticed some people are removing his name from their resumes which to me is a big mistake as genius cannot be denied even if he did go bonkers at the end. I also LOVED reading his writings as he could easily explain anything and Carmine also worked at 9-12 levels of deep structure.

What's all this about 9-12 levels of deep structure? Can someone explain what this means, I'm a bit confused.
