I want to learn hypnosis but I'm only 13 am not sure whether I can learn it I'm getting a beginners book on Monday . I don't want to go to any classes, because I'd rather do it on my own plus I think it's cool, you can make someone go to sleep also . can you use something to swing to hypnotise someone

Hi hypno nut,
welcome.
You can read my FAQ as a beginning point.
I also have a list of books you can get and read.
If you don't want to go to any classes you have an immediate handicap--nobody to give you any feedback or advice. The great baseball pitchers and hitters all have trainers who help them and have learned to take advice rather than think they can do it all by themselves.
Oh, and perhaps the first thing you should learn about hypnosis is that it has nothing to do with sleep.
The second thing is that you can't "make someone" do anything they don't already desire.

Well, you decided what you want, made a plan to get it, which is good, I don;t understand why you are asking for ideas? You have already made all the decissions you need to make, so ideas are superfluous.......As for your question, about what you swing? at your age, and completely lacking in knowledge at present, the only thing you can swing to put someone to sleep is a baseball bat. Me, I wear a tuxedo, and swing a gold watch, but you would look funny doing that don't you think?

Search the internet and read. That is exactly what I have been doing. Not to mention sites like this give plenty of free, and worthwhile, information. And because you are with a younger age group of friends you are more likely to find others who would let you practice on them and think it is "cool". The biggest thing, in the end, is dedication and practice. I am just beginning and I will be 27 this month, but with what I have learned practice and a want to practice is key. :) Good luck and have fun.
