Hi,

I wouldn't be posting this if it was only about myself, but a friend came asking me about it and I wasn't sure about the answer. I have the impression that this friend of mine is fascinated with hypnosis but gets scared away from it by stuff like that. Which is a shame from my point of view.

So here (http://www.alldumb.com/item/11984/)'s this flick about a Derren Brown videogame installation. He essentially puts a guy into a catatronic trance via a few flashes in a zombie-shooting videogame and then has him live through that videogame in real life.

So, questions: Is it real? Does he do stuff we don't get to see? Is it safe?

Yes, its real. The guy who made the game, has a blog explaining this, Ill post the link when Im on my other computer.

That is an edited excerpt from the show. Unfortunately, it does not show the whole routine nor does it show the part afterwards where the guy was interviewed. It is the routine I was discussing with Don and Don says it is Mentalism. I am not sure maybe it is. I still think there is an element of hypnosis in it. Well worth watching anyway. Thanks for posting it.
