No I'm just kidding, but I would like to learn about hypnosis, and I am wondering if I should start by reading a book, being hypnotised by a professional, or taking a class. I feel that being truly hypnotised by an expert would spark more interest in the subject, but it seems pretentious ( even insulting) to go to a hypnotherapist just to assess his/her life's work as a casual hobby. Taking a class seems like the most sensible path, but I currently consider hypnosis an interest, and I have lots of interests but not alot of money. Reading a book is another option, but I'm a bit weary about hypnotising myself- I very much respect and appreciate the human mind, as I have brazenly had drug experiences that would be nice to forget, or forget trying to forget, or forget the idea of forgetting or (insert generic paradoxical obsessive thought). Also I hate reading. lol
