nlpist as a parent???," Parsa asks, in another thread. Any such
sons and daughters want to reply? To also expand upon the question,
any such parents want to comment on how their skills in hypnosis/NLP
have come into play in their role as parents?

I think we are asking for something that is too self referenced.

So my children can contrast their experience of growing up with a brilliant hypnotist like myself with what? :) Since they didnt also grow up under someone elses guidance, how can they make a comaprason?

And since most of what we might do as parents to manipulate them would be transparent to them, how can they make a judgement?

Now later in life, especially if they choose to learn hypnosis/nlp well, they might look back and notice. And they might also notice how they are using what they unconsciously modeled with their own children. And they could notice how I deal with the grandchildren as opposed to how they might be doing it, and could thereby choose what they liked best.

You grow up, the way you grow up, and it would be difficult to accurately imagine what it would be like, or how you would be different, had you grown up otherwise.

Your observation about self referencing are an e.g. of "a brilliant
hypnotist" applying to self a consciousness of a limitation of
self-consciousness. :) It's nice when we are able to do this.
To do otherwise, is the equivalent of right now becoming conscious
of the quality of our breathing and supposing that doing
so won't affect it.

My teenage kids freinds are always asking me to hypnotise them, they dont want me to do anything inperticular , just hypnotise them, i always say no.

My 10 year old i once practiced an induction on, but afterwards he went to a tennis lesson and pretended to still be hypnotised, telling the coach that mummy had hypnotised him........god knows what people thought the little sod, lol......probably lost about 10 clients that night!
