Hi all,

Hypnosis and self-hypnosis have been fields that I've been interested in for a long time - I've done some small amounts of research in local libraries and on the web, but there's still a lot of questions that I have that are unanswered and so I found my way here.

A question about self-hypnosis:

As I've said, I've done a little research - admittedly, it's the internet, so there are of course a number of conflicting statements on the best approach - and there has been some discrepancy about the actual process of effecting changes once you're actually in the trance state. Is it better to give (mentally) verbal instruction regarding change, or to visualise the change taking place?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

a great in-person training or in the very least a visit to your local hypnotherapists to learn self-hypnosis correctly and how to use it correctly.
