If you have only learned in theory you have not learned at all, and anyone willing to allow you to practise on them is a fool. If you want practise, it should be under the guidance of a skilled and practised professional, and for that you will pay I assure you since their time is valuable.
That is the problem with mail order courses, they just don't give you the most important part of training, practise... Look for a professional body who hold meetings in your area and join. Failing that take face to face training with lots of practise guided by the instructor.

and welcome to our Forum. I don't really understand what you mean by writing "theory". Would you explain it to me? Did you do a DVD course or read a couple of books or what?

If it were any of the above, I highly suggest a real live training with lots of practice on other students while the instructor watches. There are even weekend courses where you can get the "nuts and bolts" with practice on other students for not a whole lot of money. At least it would give you something to build upon and then all the books and DVD's will start making real sense. You may have to move out of your comfort zone a little but traveling can be a lot of fun, especially when you have a really cool goal in store. Look at The American Board of Hypnotherapy to see if anyone is offering a weekend course near you.
