It's Been A While

Hello all,
It's been a long time since I posted here.
I have recently been contacted by a local Day Spa asking me if I would join their staff. I was actually surprised at this request. I have heard of a lot of hypnotherapists using spas as their place to set up their practice. They do not want me to set up a practice, but instead, have a few specialized sessions that they can add to their service menu. They have asked me to come up with some "topics" that would work well in this sort of setting.
Just as a survey (if you will), what would you, as Joe Hypnotherapist OR as Joe Regular Guy/Gal, consider putting on that list?
I have come up with a short list, and would like to see what everybody else has to offer.
Thank you for your time,
Matt

Metaphorical journeys thorugh the clients most desired natural landscape, followed by suggestions for extremly intense waves of relaxation/pleasure (so that the client really feels magic taking place, not just them imagining it).
Discussions with the clients favourite historical figure.
Or perhaps they're looking for suggestions promoting health and beauty. It is a spa afterall.
Also, a suggestion that when the session is over, the client will thank you and shake you by the hand, and then have a electrifing restorative energy rush from your hand through their body....
Always go down incredibly well with people.
Have fun with it. If they're gonna pay you go, it seems like a dream job (though could get kinda boring after a while).

Matt, the spa setting would be excellent for promoting business of other kinds, but I would suggest limiting what you do there to such items as would encourage the client to get better benifit from excercise they are doing. If weightlifting or muscle development is the process, give suggestions that they feel wonderfull after each session, that the muscles they wish to develop grow faster and more readily etc. If they excercise for health rather than for muscle, give suggestions of extreme joy and well being. Taylor each suggestion according to the needs of the client for change via excercise, and let them know you are available for other things by appointment. That way, the spa benifits from your presence, and you gain exposure and new clients from that exposure....

I'm not clear on whether you'll be doing hypnosis, or just discussing relevant topics, but here goes.
You could discuss different models for dream interpretation, and have a mini-workshop where dreams are interpreted. This plays into the subconscious so seems to relate to hypnosis.
Of course you probably have this on your list, but an instruction in self-hypnosis or meditation would be helpful. They can develop lists of affirmations o visualizations to use before going to sleep or while in trance.
Most people going to day spas are concerned about appearance, so an instruction on how to radiate inner beauty could be intriguing. Now, how you instruct something like that is up to you!

Thank you all for your info.
In answer to the above question, Yes, I will be doing hypnosis full time at the day spa. I will also be giving seminars once a week. I have decided to do a smoking seminar every other week and a stress seminar the other two weeks.
This is a dream job if you ask me. I have all the advertising I could ever want given to me by the day spa and they have no problem with me taking on appointments outside the spa setting. The owner doesn't want me to get into "in depth" issues that don't really apply to health, beauty and relaxation there at the spa.
My practice is about to take off and I'm VERY excited.
Thanks again for your info everybody!
Matt
