Hope I'm not breaking any rules here but I was wondering whether the experienced Hypnotherapists could give me their opinion of this course. http://hypnoticworld.com/course/

I have been interested in Hypnosis for a number of years, and have reached a stage where I'd like to expand that knowledge further and gain a larger understanding of clinical hypnotherapy. The course is mainly distance learning but the provider does include free workshops during the course (for Brits). The total cost is about $660 (or £360) which is reasonable I think compared to many courses (and can be paid in a very convenient way).

The diploma is approved by the American Board of Hypnotherapy and the Hypnotherapy Society, but for me (at the moment) it's more a learning experience.

Opinions? Advice?

Thanks in advance

I too, am checking out this course. There are no "mentors" in my area though.

Hmmmm - well, with no feedback, it looks like I'm going to have to just bite the bullet and go for it.

I'll report back on my opinions of the course when it arrives (first impressions at least), then perhaps as the course progresses I'll post an update. At least that way whenever anyone else wants an opinion of the course they'll be able to see one.

Fortunately I live in the South of England, so even though there isn't a mentor really close, there is one close enough to drive to. Perhaps you can have a phone mentor?

I did mine with Elestial Training in Cardiff. It was great and they really looked after us. Ray Roberts who runs it is always available to help when I've need to run something by him.

I couldn't recommend him more. Top bloke!
