OK, so to be honest I'm not quite sure what is going on with me. I make this thread because I don't know, and it makes me scared in a way. It's 1 AM my time right now and I'm up because I feel like I'm stepping on an edge to a mental breakdown. I don't know, honestly, I hardly even know what a mental breakdown is. But this has happened to me lately, I feel like I'm about to 'flip out' or go crazy any minute. Is there a way to actually drive yourself insane simply by thinking you are insane? Can you make yourself "ill" just by thinking you are? Should I try to ignore these feelings, or should I give myself suggestions at this time? If any of you want to private msg me I would also very much appreciate that. I'm young, and I'm not used to feeling this way. All I know is that I feel like I'm losing ground more and more, losing track of reality and occasionally looking back at myself, wondering if I'm going all 'wacko' or if I indeed.. am crazy. I don't trust my actions, nor myself.. at this time.

I'm sorry if this thread is located in the wrong place. Hope to hear from any of you, soon.

Mariah,

My best suggestion is to call your psychiatrist. If there is an answering
service, they may be able to page him or perhaps someone else in his
practice that may be "on call."

I'm seeing my psychiatrist again in a week, but she is never available when I try to call. Anyway, I understand that is not your problem. I could just need some honest hypnosis-advice at this time.

Hi Mariah,

You did get some “honest hypnosis-advice” to see your psychiatrist. If you are under the care of a psychiatrist, you will be hard pressed to find someone here to interfere with that patient-doctor relationship.

mm yeah well, not the 'kind' I was looking for anyway. But I understand if you can't really give any advice on this, just thought I'd give it a shot just in case anyone wanted to give their 10 cents on this.

If your psychiatrist is not available to you, contact the local mental health service. They usually have some sort of free service available to help people who can't wait for a psychiatrist, often right over the phone.

If you think you're insane, you're right. If you think you're not, you also right. Simple Maria, you are what you think you are.

Well.....Do you BELIEF it is??

There're 3 thing that make what you are

1) the books/article you read
2) the peopple you mixed with

and most importantly

3) your BELIEF.

In this case if you BELIEF it simple, mentally it will be less harder for ya.
