I have a terrible fear, like many others, of public speaking. I really would like to get over this. Can Hypnosis help me to get over this fear? If so, how do I know who to go to or what to do to get this help. Thank you in advance.

The short answer is "Yes"....
Hello Nichole,
Terry has given you the answer to the first part of your question.
As for the second part: in the UK contact the National Council for Hypnotherapy for a local practitioner at www.hypnotherapists.org (http://www.hypnotherapists.org), and the USA contact the National Guild of Hypnotists, for the same at www.ngh.net (http://www.ngh.net). You could also find a practitioner of NLP who could remove your phobia using a different method.
You will be amazed at how you will enjoy public speaking!

Thanks Jack, for the moment, my mind went blank, and I couldn't recall the addresses you have supplied, or even were to look (G) Old age creeping up I guess.

Hi,
In addition to the other suggestions, I would recommend finding a practitioner of Time Line Therapy(TM). This approach can assist with fear and specifically public speaking. You can contact the Time Line Therapy(TM) Association by emailing tlta@hypnosis.com to find a practitioner in your area.
Also, the book Presenting Magically by James and Shephard has an excellent approach to public speaking and eliminating the fear. It is available in the U.S. by contacting Advanced Neuro Dynamics at www.nlp.com or through AA Books in the U.K.
Best regards,
Matt
