I was hypnotized back in April for weight loss and have lost 44 pounds thus far, I am pretty happy with the results but have a few questions.
I practice self hypnosis every evening listening to the same CD 90% of the time and the other 10% was a cheesy recording I made while I was in one of my 3 sessions made just for me, the CD I use 90% is a generic CD.
So I have done self hypnosis approx. 75 times myself, 2 of the times I got very squirmy where I could not sit still at all and 15 minutes into the 30 minute session I had to jump up and stop the session.
I would also say 80% of the time I fall asleep during the sessions and only remember the countdown from 25 to 0 and wake up because the next track on the ipod is louder and makes me jump!
Is this normal? I notice if I go for a week of falling asleep listening I need to at least force myself to listen all the way through in a very relaxed state. Is this because I am listening to the same old CD all the time and my mind is bored or not?
Thanks
Steve
