During induction/hypnosis. Like, I can't get myself comfortable! I lie straight out in my bed with my arms out to the side, still can't relax. My bed is comfortable, but the thing is.. I'm used to laying all curled-up with my face drowning in my pillow, sort of, and I move probably more than you probably snor at night (if you snor, anyway)
My background-music is so relaxing, that isn't the problem. So any advice? I am seriously lying there stiff like a pin! HELP:eek:

There are many ways to achieve a hypnotic state, going through relaxation being just one of them, the most comment one used for self-hypnosis.

Like you, many people have a predetermined idea of what "relaxation" is, and work so hard trying to achieve it that they never do.

My guess--and I apologize if I'm wrong--is that you know very well how to relax, but your goal is not relaxation. Rather it is hypnosis. So the real question I'd have is "Are you intimately familiar with the experience of being hypnotized?" I've found, and I imagine other hypnotherapists here may agree with me, that after you have experienced hypnosis many times it can be achieved quickly and easily whether one is in some position or situation one might consider "relaxed" or not.

From your description it might be easier if you take a workshop or find a hypnotist who will help you. After you experience hypnosis a few times you'll be able to get their quickly sitting, prone, or any just about any other position.

Kewl, huh?
