What's the most effective, would you say, of hypnosis and sublimminal? With sublimminal I mean the type of scripth you do not consqiously hear, and that you do not need to be in a trance to achieve.

Hello Mariah,

There is no conclusive proof that subliminal messaging of any kind works.

There is a vast library of well documented, well researched proof that hypnosis does.

Conclusion?

bandler did an experiment on subliminal by making his own tapes and giving them to people.. they did not know there were subliminal messages hidden in the tape.. these were hundreds of "bad" suggestion.. however when he asked them to give him the tapes back.. they didn't want to.. they said they never felt so good... however if you meant with subliminal many voices which you can hear.. were you can only focus on one of them.. this seems to effect people..
so what you hear is what you get ;)

I would add that the quality of subliminal audio tapes varies wildly. I've heard of some companies that have tapes with thousands of subliminals sped up to high speeds that sound every minute of the tape. There is a theory as to why this "should" work, but there is not any evidence that it does.

One company sold tapes for years without really understanding what a subliminal was. They made tapes with suggestions that were so quiet they could not be heard! These would be subaudible tapes, not subliminal ones. There is no evidence that subaudibles work at all.

So how do you know the quality of any tape you order?

If you are listening to a subliminal tape, and if you listen very closely to it, you should be able to make out the suggestions in the tape. If you're not pay close attention you won't notice them.

Do they work? As Jack said, there is no scientific evidence to support the efficacy of audio subliminals. There is a tiny amount of evidence to support the efficacy of visual subliminals in groups--that is, within a group visual subliminals may work for some people but not all, and there is currently no way of knowing which type of person any individual is. Further, it may work at one time and not another.

My guess is that if people think it's going to work, then it will--for a time--work.
