Hi folks. I came here to tell you something and to ask you people for your help.
I want to change!!

I want to change my self, I feel like I am getting crazy of this boring life....
I want to learn to be different and I think I can manage that with the help of hypnosis.
So I want to ask, who is able and who would like to help me?

1. Open telephone book. 2. Look up "Hypnotherapy" or "Neurolinguistic Programming". 3. Find qualified practitioners of Hypnotherapy and/or Neuro-Linguistic Programming. 4. Choose 2 or 3 and call and talk to them. 5. Make an appointment with the 1 you like best.

Of course you didn't come here to learn how to use a telephone book, you came here for a freebee.
I read you quite clearly since I am used to reading prospective clients over the phone, and I read you as selfish, and inward looking. Want help, change your attitude and you will have no need of outside help. Fail to change and nobody and nothing will help you...
There you go, a free session, and I didn;t even need to question you, just read a couple of your posts....

I am hopeless, am I?
Yes you are speaking the truth, but I never wrote that I wouldn't pay for your services. Because you are a team member , that doesn't means that you are allowed to call me as a selfish person. So I would say to stop acting arrogant and to try to be nicer to the people who are coming in here for help. Take Poodle an example.

Yes I want to change my self , and I want to change the lifestyle I have.
I would like to learn to be able to control my self a bit. For example now, I am mad because Terry thinks he's the greatest...Even if it can be true ,what I don't know, but he still should change ^^

So lets get back to topic.....
Yes Poodle , it is true that I should look for the nearest Shrink in my area, but I really lost my confidence in them, and I am also afraid the they would close me in ...... This is actually the real reason I came here.

Hypnotists aren't "shrinks." We don't shrink your mind, we expand it. We expand possibilities, useful choices, positive behaviors, feelings of well-being...

Shogun, here is the situation as I read it, based on your posts.

1) You want to change. I really do believe this. I think it is great that you recognize that things are not going the way you would like and need to change.

2) However, you want to change completely under your own terms. You want help from someone here even though we cannot do therapy of any sort over the internet. You say you've lost your confidence in "shrinks" (although you don't say why), and they would "close you in" (although you don't explain what that means).

So, because you have made some very unclear statements, I'm going to have to make some guesses.

Guess 1) You've been to at least one "shrink" in your area, possibly more. If not, you couldn't have lost confidence in them.

Guess 2) They saw that you needed to change and gave advice on how to do it. However, you did not want to follow that change and abandoned treatment with them.

Guess 3) So you want change under your terms and hope someone here will provide it.

Guess 4) As you suggested, money is not the issue...so what is? My guess: control. You want to change but only in the way you preconceive change must occur and only under your terms.

The conclusion, based on guesses based on the limited information you've provided: Although a part of you wants to change, another part (or other parts) of you is fighting against it tooth and nail, and doing everything it (they) can to make sure you don't change.

The advice: Just what others have said. Find a hypnotherapist in your area. He or she will get all of your parts working together to help you change. Your hypnotherapist will help you get past having to do it your way--you know, they way you've been demanding for years and has led you to this point--and help you do it the right way, the way that really works.

Your decision: You can keep providing us limited information and pretend that you want to change or you can contact a local hypnotherapist, go for a few sessions, and find a new world opening for your.

Stay the current way and be unhappy or get assistance and open up all your potentials.

Your choice.

Hi, Shogun.

Sometimes I think peoples greatest fear is that this (hypnosis/nlp and related fields) will not help either. Some have tried so many different things and they might feel to little avail. And finally when they arrive at hypnosis/nlp they think this is their last straw and after that, if it doesn't work out, there is little or meager hope to change left.

Shogun, I don't know if you feel you fit into that category, I know nothing about you actually. Anyway, IMO, go and explore this (hypnosis/nlp). It might take a little work on your part, finding someone good to work with, but it takes energy to sleep and eat and have fun also.

So when you have found that person to work with, depending on where you live people here might even help you, go and do it. It is not so much that "they" change you, they help you change you. They show you a new toolset, something new to explore and something to play with. And then you are on your preferred road and you do the driving.

I think you should read Don's reply once more, he said:

"Your hypnotherapist will help you get past having to do it your way--you know, they way you've been demanding for years and has led you to this point--and help you do it the right way, the way that really works."

You might ponder upon that for a little.

Happy exploring and changing,
Henrik
