Hi, there.

I have never been involved in hypnosys or anything alike but I want to see if someone out there has a case like this.

I have been recently diagnosed with paranoia shizophrenic but I think this is more how evolved what once started.

Six months ago I started to hear voices explaining complex terms of hipnosys and suggestions ( I have never studied psycology, hipnosys or anything alike) I am a system developer engineer. I did not pay too much attention until effects started to occurred, like how after a suggestion such "listen to your thoughs in every single constant sound you have around you from each and every place that you less expect" and without even knowing what a voice would mean by that I would start to hear "the echo" of my thoughts.

After a while and starting to research many of the suggestion patterns would match with many of the suggestion patterns that many methods (such NPL) suggest.

I just want to know if anyone have face or have heard about something like this before, quiet interesting and bit scary I am looking for help. Nowadays I am under medication and I still hearing the voices in the same quality and long ago dissociatte the voices from people who were around me (neighboors etc) but they are not possible to control and like themselves (the voices) would say "it's not when you want, it's when you less expect it.".

Have someone have deal with anything like this before?

Hello,

Since you have been 'diagnosed' and are now on medication, it would not be appropriate for a hypnotist here to be involved with you without a referral from your MD.
Even if that hypnotist were also a licensed MD (s)he should still work with your current MD.

So, we here must be very careful about answers given to you.

yes.

I understand and I have been during the past couple of months on medication. I was diagnosed with "schizofrenic paranoia" even though it was not how started as I mentioned in my previous post. Would hypnosis help me? and understand it's even scary to me because most of the voices revealed so much on hypnosis and the way suggestion works (even dream with extreme vivid dreams out of what I possibly though it could be possible).

I have never been subject to any hipnosys or even been interested in the topic, so this it's comming from the blue.

Medicine it's not working and make me feel really bad with side effects and I still having the voices, what would you suggest how should I proceed and refer to any alternative treatment that might help me?

I won't ask you for your previous experience and I would ask you for a moment and compare with mine for this intance, because I would be most likely afraid to read on previous experiences like this and auto suggest (and live it) whatever happened to another person on this regard.

Best Regards and thanks for your response

eduardofl74,

Yes, hypnosis can be a good adjunct to other treatments. These are things you should discuss with your therapist, and, express your desire to seek hypnosis as an adjunct. Your therapist is in a better position to advise you.
