Hello,fellow hypnosis fans!
No I do NOT have any weird questions for
the team this time, just positive news.

I've decided to attend a hypnosis school
in September in St.Louis, and I'm just wanting
a few opinions on the school.

The teacher is Donald J.Motten, and his
school in St.Louis is considered one of the best
in the country.

But before I say yes to his school,
I was wondering if anyone at hypnosis.com
had any reviews about his teaching techniques.

Thanks and God Bless,

Don is very highly regarded and one of the leading teachers of the NGH. I have attended one of his workshops and have several of his videos and have found them all to be very helpful.

Don't know the gentleman, but I do know that word of mouth reputations are like gold. A good reputation takes time to build, and can be destoyed easily, so I suggest you go for the gold.....

James, there's just one other thing I'd like for you to consider. It's something I discovered in high school.

Any form of schooling does only one thing: it gives you the opportunity to learn. It other words, no teacher can force information/knowledge/wisdom into you. Any class on any subject merely gives you the chance to discover ways to learn things. If you are not open to learning, the "best" teacher in the world won't be able to help you. If you are open to learning, the "worst" teacher still helps to provide the setting where you can learn a great deal.

So the real question is not whether a teacher is good, but rather whether the student is good. If a student is good, he or she will ask appropriate questions and make sure they take advantage of the opportunity in which they are placed.

So.....are you going to be a great student? Are you going to wring every bit of information you can from the teacher? If so, it's going to be a great class for you.

I've read some absolutely terrible books on hypnosis. I've learned from all of them.

I attended Don's class. I think it was a great experience. I have no regrets and have no problem recommending Don Mottin. He has alot of experience and is interesting as well as informative. Best wishes.
